Pune businessman jacks-up house by 3.5 ft to escape monsoon flooding

The jacks, according to contractor Balwan Sisodia, can withstand weight of around 350 tonnes. Iyer has paid ₹15 lakh only for lifting the house, excluding labour and other charges.
